How to Be Assertive Without Being Aggressive (four to five weeks)

Are you someone who meets the needs of others, but when it comes to speaking up on your own behalf, you have a hard time advocating for yourself?  You’re not alone.  Many of us find it easier to speak up for others than we do for ourselves.  In this workshop you’ll learn the benefits of being assertive and communicating clearly to advocate for your own needs. In this series, you’ll be  learning how to recognize and communicate your values and rights effectively, strategies for voicing your needs confidently, and expressing yourself in positive ways – even when you need to say “no”.
